Virginia HiltonCPA, Tax Accountant
Virginia is a tax accountant specializing in individual taxation, including foreign and non-resident taxation, as well as the taxation of trusts and estates. She also handles the preparation of various business tax return types within the music industry.
Virginia earned her undergraduate degree from Vassar College, her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Post University, and her Master’s in Taxation from the University of Hartford. She works closely with our business and individual clients, assisting them with all aspects of tax return compliance and planning.
Virginia is very active in the CT Society of CPA’s, and has recently served as Chairperson of the State Tax Committee. She is an Advisory Council Member, and is the Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Community Accounting Services (the accounting equivalent of the Legal Aid Society). She is also a member of the Tax section of the AICPA. She has lectured for Lorman Education Services on Connecticut Sales Tax topics including Cloud-Based Taxation and Sales Tax Issues for the Construction Trades.
Outside of work, Virginia teaches and practices yoga, and relaxes around her backyard bonfires with her husband and three children in Rocky Hill, CT.
